New Orthopaedic Associates therapy office to open May 1 | Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth
April 26, 2012
Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth is expanding their physical and occupational therapy services to include a second office in Hermantown, which will start seeing patients May 1.
The new office, located at 4310 Menard Drive, offers patients another location from which to choose when scheduling quality physical and occupational therapy care. And, the Hermantown therapy location will also see patients that are referred from other physicians.
“We have many patients for whom a Hermantown location would be convenient, so this was a natural move,” Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Joel Zamzow said. “Anything we can do to make the healing process easier for patients is a good thing.”
Physical and occupational therapy can be used to treat sports, work and repetitive injuries. It can also be used to prevent injuries, and is often part of a total-treatment plan for patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery.
In addition to the new therapy office in Hermantown, therapy services are available at the Orthopaedic Associates main office in Duluth at 1000 East First Street in Suite 404. New therapists have joined Orthopaedic Associates to accommodate the second location.
Serving the Northland since 1969, Orthopaedic Associates offers a complete range of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services with ten surgeons and a team of professionally-trained staff.
